Manna Gum is perfectly located close to the Mt Buller resort gates and after we arrived our group of 11 called it 'the Log Cabin' affectionately. It's set amongst majestic gum trees and the sense of privacy is unrivalled. And it is even more beautiful in the flesh than the pictures online. The children (all 5 of them) asked 'can we stay here forever?' The additional living zone with DVD player is also perfect for tired kids to wind down (after a day of snow play). We really enjoyed sitting by the glorious wood fire and cooking in spacious kitchen. The timber detailing everywhere was delightful and the window seat at sunset is in itself totally worth the drive from Melbourne! The kids also loved the bunk beds and the playful attic spaces that could be explored. If you love space, tranquility and a picturesque setting... this place is for you! We can't wait to go back again.

This was our second stay in MannaGum and it was just as great as the first time! The house is fantastic, heaps of space and light with excellent communal areas. The two lounges is so convenient, letting the kids do their thing upstairs within earshot but out of the way. The central lounge and kitchen is large and the wood heater heats it perfectly. The view out the huge windows is just lovely. Nicole has outfitted the place with everything you need. The kitchen is especially well appointed, I usually bring a coffee plunger, good knife and extra cooking utensils when I hire places but no need to here! We were mountain biking and hiking for the weekend, and the location is perfect for this. It's a short walk down to the main road from which you can access the river trails which take you to the Mount Sterling hiking paths. Mirabah is about a 2k ride away and the cafe there runs a shuttle service for bikers to the top of Mount Buller. You can ride the Buller MTB trails all the back to MannaGum, including the new Epic trail. Nicole is a great host, very welcoming and easy to deal with. Highly recommended, we'll be back for sure!

We had a fantastic getaway and there was ample room for our group of eight. The kitchen was well equipped (utensils, cutlery, small appliances, coffee plungers) with a barbecue unit outside the balcony and the rooms welcomed us with fresh linen and towels. There were board games, DVDs and books to read (especially on the single chaise lounge which was very comfortable). The house had an air- conditioning unit which cooled us down on a warm summer’s day. Located in between Mansfield and Mt Buller, it was convenient for us to drive into town for groceries or for a mini hike at Mt Buller and a visit to Delatite Wineries. Thank you for your hospitality and home Nicole.

The place was immaculate and exactly as described. Bedding/linen & towels were perfectly laid out, lots of kitchen appliances were all on hand, and for anyone looking to chill on the couch there are plenty of books & dvds on the shelves. Stayed over summer with mountain bikes and the location was perfect, right at the base of Mt Buller. We had cars/drivers otherwise a shuttle bus can just take you up the top of the mountain and then when you're done you can take one of the trails off the mountain to come back. 10/10 would stay again.

We stayed for 2 night and didn't want to leave. The house was lovely, it was spotlessly clean and spacious for all of us. The kids really enjoy their rooms and all the toys and dvds. Would recommend Mannagum to friends and relatives and stay there again when we visit Mt. Buller again! Thank you nicole for being nice and gave us some more time to pack our things.

We stayed for 2 nights at MannaGum with 3 other couples and loved our time there. The house was spotless, very spacious, had everything we needed, and was warm! The fire place was a big winner. Nicky was a great host too. She was very responsive to emails and made everything very easy. We would all highly recommend this place for friends wanting to escape or for multiple families needing a lot of beds. Thanks Nicky!

We had a great weekend at Nicole's home Mannagum. Three families stayed together and there was plenty of space for everyone. The adventure loft beds were fun. The house is better than described in the listing -- we were surprised at the kitchen equipment, e.g. slow-cooker, food processor, bread maker, all of which were used over the weekend. House was very warm and comfortable in a beautiful setting. Would definitely return. Thank you Nicky!

The house was beautiful and we had a lovely stay over the weekend with much comforts. It was a perfect holiday house, very nice design and spacious for 4 families. It's definitely our best weekend getaway so far. Truong Vu August 2015
Nicole's house at Sawmill Settlement was absolutely immaculate. The house was so clean and well presented with everything we needed on hand. We were all very happy with the quality of the beds and bedding as well as the level of care she had put in to the house. A few of us went on runs/walks and bike rides, finding the neighbourhood beautiful and quiet. We all agreed we would love to go back next year for the same experience. Thanks you so much Nicky.
